Are They Really Down There?
Ivar's billboards at the bottom of Puget Sound were considered another Ivar Haglund myth, until documentation was discovered at Pier 54 by Seattle historian Paul Dorpat. In researching his book on Ivar, Dorpat uncovered a set of schematics, drawings and receipts that indicate Ivar not only made plans for the billboards, but with little fanfare actually installed them in 1955. Documents are incomplete, but suggest the approximate undersea location of seven boards. Documents also reveal Ivars reasons for this ambitious undertaking: he anticipated submarine travel to become a popular mode of travel in the Puget Sound.

A surreal music video we worked on from director/dp Zack Spiger. The video is for the song "Good Enough" from the album "Love and Torture" by Stone Jack Jones. The source footage was shot entirely on B&W Super 8 reversal film. The film was scanned on our Shadow telecine and graded on our DaVinci 2K. The transfer was captured directly to drive as 1080 23.98psf ProRes HQ files.

Three spots we worked on for Banner Bank. All the spots where shot on RED One with a few shots coming from S16mm. The RED One footage was a mix of 4K with several overcrank shots at 3K and 2K. The spots were conformed and graded on the Quantel iQ. Final output to HDCamSR and 2K file delivery.

To celebrate the release of Paul Rodriguez's third shoe, Nike Brand Kitchen produced a new commercial titled "Today Was a Good Day". We got to join in on the fun by doing the conform and final color for the spot. The commercial was shot on RED and SI-2K.
